Didn't get anything from the lunch menu at 1:45 pm. This wasn't that bad .. .... Had to switch to the afternoon offers ....... The currywurst from the previous day, which was then served very poorly, was certainly outrageous. As a service provider, the landlord seemed very overwhelmed to us.

Excellent service and great cuisine! We got another lunch even though we were over time. And it was great. A really first class traditional roast with dumplings and that for the price. And everyone was very friendly, it was a very pleasant visit.

After changing tenants I thought it could get better, had my experience among the old tenants with warm beer, cold coffee, long waiting times and overwhelmed employees. But no, it got worse. Had a currywurst with french fries and a specialty was there 15 minutes after opening. Someone saw it and after I knew from outside you will have to wait a long time until someone takes notice inside. Also went pretty quickly. However, what was served to me is by far the worst currywurst I've ever eaten. The cheapest fries from the freezer. The curry ketchup tastes like a cheap discounter from the bottle only a little longer. And the sausage first. Nah, I'm sorry you can bring better things to the table for little money. Among them were two guests outside in the beer garden and, at first, they were ignored. Until someone called inside. After the meal I looked around a bit and assumed that after taking over there would be a general cleaning. Far from it, I would have seen the dirt under the bench beforehand. No, I would have gone on. I didn't even visit the toilet. Sorry, but nobody can take me there.

We were ignored for 10 minutes at a wooden table in the meadow - we were neither asked about it nor was the table marked ... it started off well! 2. After the change of place we were skilfully ignored again for 10 minutes until we could finally order. 3. The hygiene rules are only displayed pro forma ... a) Our table was only disinfected on request, just disgusting! b) At a table a waiter without a mask was talking to guests! c) The slip for the guest registration is (inconspicuous!) at the entrance on a high table, so you can go in unnoticed ... 4. Waiters who run in and out hectically and are unfriendly on top of that make an unprofessional impression on me and do not let me relax. 5. We had to ask for the bill twice, which again cost us time and nerves. So it is best not to eat anything there ... and ... above all ... plan a LOT of TIME! No comparison to before!

Totally unkempt appearance. Point 2: The mask requirement is absolutely ignored, and the slip of paper for guest registration is just lying on a bar table at the entrance, you can almost just go in, none of the waitresses knows whether every guest has registered or not. Point 3: You have to wait forever to be served even if the waitress has already seen you. The menu is simply slammed down, even though you only want coffee / cake. Is not even asked for or even offered. Unfriendly at that. Point 4: Tables that have been empty for a long time, the used dishes are still around forever. You have to wait forever but you were there immediately to collect. There is simply nothing better. Pure disappointment. It's okay for a short break to rest and have a drink. Unfortunately not for more. Oh yes, time, plan a LOT of time

We were there for the second time today, however we ate indoors due to the weather but it also tasted very good there and the landlord was also very nice. Before that we went for a nice walk in the forest with our dog because it is right behind the house. There is also a small playground.

The schnitzel are absolutely great, I can only recommend mixing the different schnitzel;) Great location, especially in summer, nice beer garden in the forest. Highly Recommended.

A small nondescript restaurant in the middle of the forest. You think you can take a break here. And then you expect an excellent cuisine like you would want in big houses. We stopped here for a bike ride, and will definitely come back. But then with a car, and friends who also like to eat well.

Love love love this place. Been there about 3 times already and the food is good, affordable prices, great atmosphere, nice service and staff. Also English menu!
